Hollywood Smile
A Hollywood Smile is a cosmetic dental treatment in which the teeth visible when you smile are redesigned as a whole, using E-max veneers, zirconia restorations and composite bonding. It is not a single procedure but a plan that combines several techniques according to your own dental structure. In Istanbul the treatment takes four days, within a five-night programme.
What is a Hollywood Smile?
“Hollywood Smile” is a popular term rather than a medical one. It describes renewing the colour, shape and alignment of the teeth you show when you smile — treating the whole smile line as one design rather than individual teeth in isolation.
How many teeth are included varies from person to person and is decided after an examination. The number of teeth visible when you smile, your lip movement and the condition of your existing teeth all influence this.
When is it considered?
- Permanent discolouration that whitening cannot correct
- Gaps between teeth (diastema) or mild crowding
- Chipped, worn or shortened front teeth
- Old fillings or crowns that no longer match in colour
- Asymmetry in tooth length or the smile line
Methods used
A treatment plan may use three methods, alone or together. E-max veneers are thin porcelain layers applied to the front surface of the tooth; their translucency gives a natural look and they require minimal removal of tooth structure. Zirconia covers the whole tooth and is more robust — preferred where there is significant tooth loss or a history of root canal treatment.
Composite bonding is used for small shape corrections and edge refinements. Which method suits you is determined by the dentist after an examination and X-rays; most plans combine more than one.

How does it work, step by step?
Online consultation (from home)
You share photos of your teeth over WhatsApp. The dentist makes an initial assessment and we send possible treatment options and a personalised quote within 24 hours. The final price is confirmed after the in-person examination.
Day 1 — Examination and procedure
You have an examination and X-rays, and the smile design is agreed together. Your teeth are then prepared under local anaesthetic and impressions are taken. This first procedure takes around 2 hours, and you leave with temporary restorations.
Day 3 — Try-in appointment
The restorations prepared in the laboratory are tried in. Colour, shape and fit are reviewed together, and any changes you want are made at this stage. The day in between is free for you to explore Istanbul.
Day 4 — Aesthetic work and bonding
Once you approve the try-in, the final aesthetic adjustments are made and the restorations are bonded permanently. Your new smile is completed at this appointment.
Day 5 — Final check-up
Your bite and gum fit are checked one last time and aftercare is explained. After this check-up you are ready to fly home — and you stay in contact with your coordinator afterwards.
